皆様お久しぶりです。最近仕事が忙しくてなかなかPCの前に座れない浦っと船長です。
まだまだ暑い日が続いているうえに、コロナの影響もあって、なかなか外に出られない方もいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか？
皆様、体調には気を付けてくださいね。
さて、私が今住んでいるところは、元々エアコンがついていなかったので、この暑い中、知恵を振り絞って、何とか涼を取って熱中症にかからないようにしてきましたが、流石に耐え切れなくなってエアコンを探していたんです。
しかしながら、予算が折り合わない事もさることながら、エアコンを取り付けるとなると、許可申請が必要な為、申請が要らないスポットクーラーを探していました。
そこで、出会ったのが、山善のスポットクーラーYEC-26Wでした。
このスポットクーラーの性能をちょっと紹介。

付属品：排熱ダクト、排熱ダクト用本体側継手、排熱ダクト用窓側継手、リモコン、窓パネルA、窓パネルB、レール用アタッチメント×2、スポンジテープ、窓パネル固定用部品
運転準備として、まず付属品を使って窓に排熱ダクトを取り付けました。エアコンと同様、暖かい空気を取り込んで、外に出して冷たい空気を部屋に送り込む為、これをしないと部屋がなかなか涼しくなりません。
こんな感じです。ただ、小窓用の為、窓枠が高さ88cm～125cmの間しか対応していません。ですので、180cmの窓では高さが足りないため、次の写真みたいにしました。
段ボールを足りない部分に貼ってみました。皆さんは他にもいい方法を知っているとは思いますが、その時にあった材料でふさぎました。ちなみに、かかった時間は15分～20分くらいです。女性でも簡単に取り付けられると思います。
それでは、一つ一つ使った感想を書いていきます。
まず除湿機能なんですが、洗濯物を朝干して、除湿運転して大体１５時ぐらいにはある程度乾いていました。感覚的にそこそこ使えるなあって感じです。除湿するので部屋もそれなりに冷えていました。部屋の水分を冷やして湿気を取る感じですね。
次に冷風機能ですが、取扱説明書にも書いてあったんですが、部屋を涼しくすることはできませんと書いてありました。実際のところはどうなのよ？と思った私は、京間6畳ぐらいの部屋を閉め切って運転してみました。設定温度は24℃で運転開始。すると10分ぐらいで部屋が冷え始めて快適になりました。意外と冷えてくれます。京間12畳にしてみると残念ながらあまり冷えてくれませんでした。扇風機を使って空気を撹拌してやると、それなりに温度が下がり、温度を測ってはいませんが、寝るには問題ない位には冷えてくれました。(私の感覚的に27℃位かなあって感じです。)
次に送風機能ですが、これは説明するまでもなく、普通に風が出てくるだけです。コンプレッサーも動かないので、音は除湿、冷風機能に比べて静かになります。
音に関しては人によって感じ方が違うと思いますが、イメージとして通常のエアコンの室内機と室外機が一緒になったような感じなので少々うるさいと思ってください。
数字で表すと、比較的静かな図書館が大体40㏈ぐらいなので、その点、このスポットクーラーは53㏈なので、ちょっとうるさいです。
皆さんが気になるのは電気代かと思いますが、商品が届いてから約10日間で電気のメーターを測りに来たのですが、それで、先月の電気代とこの月の電気代を見比べて概算したとろ、1日に約10時間ぐらい使って1日約100円ぐらいの計算になりました。これはあくまでも概算で、正確ではありませんので、このくらいかかるのかぁ･･･ぐらいの感覚で参考にしてください。
もう一つ気になるのが、エアコンだとドレンホースから水が出てますよね？これはどうなってるの？ってことなんですけど、基本ノンドレイン方式なのであまり水は出ません。しかし、やはり水は溜まります。そこは商品の後ろについている排水の蓋を開けて出してあげればいいので簡単です。
でも商品が届いてからまだ一度も排水していませんのでそんなに水は貯まらないのかなあと思います。使う環境が変われば分かりませんが･･･。
それと商品を移動するときはキャスターが付いているので移動はしやすかったです。ですが、これを2階にあげるとかなると、27㎏あるので女性はしんどいかもしれませんね。
